I'm an audiophile and perfectionist with a love for good sound and an affinity for strong storytelling. My experience is in recording and mixing great audio for short narrative films with small crews.
I started young–I’ve been a student of filmmaking since the age of seven, when I began attending the Jacob Burns Film Center’s fantastic K-12 Summer @ the Lab program, in Pleasantville, New York. I’ve always had a keen and critical ear. After I entered Ithaca College to pursue a degree in film, I realized that I “watch“ a lot of my favorite TV shows and movies with my phone in my pocket, screen off. So I started doing it deliberately. As I listened to the soundtracks of many of my favorite films again, I discovered a whole world of subtle and nuanced storytelling that I’ll always love.
I’m also an experienced videographer. I specialize in shooting musical theatre, music videos, dance groups, and anything else that requires an innate sense of musicality. I’ve been listening all my life, and I bring my ear with me anytime I shoot.
